Currently owner of Art Mango, offering services ranging from graphic design and illustration to painting and hosting painting parties.​​

Freelanced with graphic design and illustration services for publications. Created covers, laid out entire magazines, brochures, postcards, ads, pamphlets, branding. Sometimes worked for web design or video marketing putting together a team. Illustrated articles, subway banners, blogs.

2008 - 2010

Aligraphics is a printshop. I worked doing all the graphic design services that the company offered to their clients. Did a lot of pre press work.

2006 - 2008

CPUSA. Laid out Political Affairs Magazine, monthly publication, its promotion design, postcards, brochures, flyers, posters and online ads. â€‹

 

2001 - 2006​

Freelance designer and illustrator, provided services for various companies. My list of clients: VNU Publications (now Nielsen), Broadway Chiropractic and Wellness, Maria’s Tacos packaging illustration (Dominican Republic) and others.​

 

2001

​Time Inc. Worked temporarily at Health Magazine (promotions department) doing advertorials, covers, adds, billboards, invites for events, mailers, sell sheets, etc. • Game Face ProductionsPhoto imaging, digitally enhancing the photographs of a traveling exhibition titled "Game Face" about sportswomen of all time, and its book. This show opened first at the Smithsonian Museum. I also assisted our photographer with lighting, propped models, handled and took care of more than 300 printed photographs sent by high end photographers. Produced invitations, mailers, labels and dummies of the book.

 
1997 - 2001

Parsons School of Design. Gallery technician, helped gallery director creating a team of students to help put up a show in time. Prepped and mounted many exhibitions of great contemporary artists coming from all over the world. Curated and catered for show openings, and assisted different departments of Parsons School of Design to achieve gallery level quality for senior students exhibits.

Susie Gadea & Associates, Dominican Republic. Designed brochures, logos, posters, mailers, adds and labels for packaging. At this full time job I learned a lot and worked closely with the Creative Director for the successful completion of every project.
